Our Story
Recor Studio is a Hawai'i photography studio. As a photographer and mama to two sweet boys, I spend my days outdoors, looking for the unexpected, abstract moments in nature that could last forever.
Where the work begins. Based on Kaua'i, we photograph all over the Hawaiian islands, however, most of the pieces are captured on the Garden Isle. Our pieces bring the outside in, whether you call Hawai'i home, or you want to bring a piece of the islands with you.
How we make each piece. Every print is a giclée print made with archival inks on thick, acid-free matte paper, finished with an acid-free mat, UV-protective acrylic and a real hardwood frame, and shipped ready to hang. Each one is made to order.
Our promise to the islands. We are lucky to call Hawai'i home and we take that responsibility seriously. We work with responsible vendors and give 1% of profits to 1% for the Planet.
Working with designers. Each print is a fine art piece and works well for interior design projects as well as home rentals and hotels. If you are designing a space in Hawai'i or on the mainland, we would love to hear about it.
